Introduction
Virtual education is a modality of education that has become more relevant today, as the spread of the internet and accessibility to new ways of accessing information and thus education, is an opportunity we are currently afforded. This modality presents some challenges for those involved in the educational process, as it requires students to be autonomous in their learning, teachers to implement strategies appropriate to the virtual context, and educational institutions, as well as the government, require policies and dynamics that encourage access to and retention in this educational model.
Positive aspects
Negative aspects
The negative aspect of virtual education is the lack of study habits, as deadlines for submitting assignments and activity assessments are sometimes missed. Furthermore, we may end up not dedicating the necessary time to fulfilling the activity requirements, doing only the bare minimum, which isn't ideal in a learning process, especially when you're dedicated to teaching, as I am.
Personal view and Conclusion
My opinion of virtual education is that this modality has presented many opportunities for study and work. It has also allowed me to learn new ways of teaching that are more in line with the needs and opportunities of the global educational environment.
In conclusion, virtual education presents itself as a new way of accessing learning and teaching processes, allowing students and teachers to build a learning environment where motivation and willingness are essential to achieving the expectations of the educational process being developed.
